Almost 80 years AEROSILA has successfully been producing:

  • since 1939 – propellers and propfans (with hydromechanical governors)
  • since 1958 – auxiliary power units (APU)
  • since 1965 – power mechanisms for wing sweep varying

The enterprise has developed:

  • 115 propellers (with power of 20-30000 h.p.) for 85 aircraft types
  • more than 15 APU models and modifications (with equivalent power of 100÷475 h.p.) for 85 aircraft types
  • 10 ball-screw actuators (with operating loads of 10-130 tones) for 7 aircraft types

Developed design technological potential, production and test basis, quality management system according to SO 9001:2008, EN 9100:2009 requirements and after-sale support provide the reliability, quality and effective operation of manufactured products with specific and operating parameters on the level of the best world samples.

STREAMLINES

Being the high-level integrator AEROSILA coordinates creative efforts of developers for control systems, fuel devices, starting and ignition systems, heat exchangers, sensors, other aggregates and materials, organizes the formation of perspective requirements and sets long-term objectives.

PROPELLERS AND PROPFANS (WITH HYDROMECHANICAL GOVERNORS)

Due to implementing the multi-blade conception with applying light composite blades with specific density the high aerodynamic efficiency propellers and propfans features lower dimensions and weight, lower noise level and increased design service life than previous propellers.
Applied set of materials and technologies increases the reliability and maintainability of composite of a composite blade with repaired blade durability at the level of a new one.

The following processes may be performed at the overhaul and in operating:

  • Cover and spar damages repairing;
  • Blade ice protection heater replacing;
  • Front edge nickel protection shield replacing;
  • Plastic blade root repairing.

The electronic control loop in propellers’ automatic control system allows implementing the following:

  • extended control functions set;
  • diagnostics;
  • propellers’ phase-synchronization for additional noise level reducing.

AUXILIARY POWER UNITS FOR AIRCRAFT AND HELICOPTERS

On the basis of developed new generation basic engines series AEROSILA operatively creates abs sets up the serial production of the APU modifications for new, modernized and advanced aircraft and helicopters.
The APUs are equipped with the electronic system of control and adjustment (FADEC) and meet up-to-date requirements in dimension, weight and specific performances, noise level, emissions release, launch and operation altitude, fuel economy and maintainability.

Now the following improvements are being performed:

  • advanced auxiliary gas turbine engines
  • board power units with increased electric power bleed including the “electric aircraft” conception implementing
  • base gas generator for small size propulsion engine

LIFTING & PROPULSION MECHANISMS for HOVERCRAFT and WIG AIRCRAFT

The propellers and lift fans designed for creating an air cushion under ship body, direct and reverse provide the high speed, maneuverability, landing and ship moving on the land.
Blades of propellers and fans with variable pitch are made from polymer composite materials.

The reliability of the lift fans and propellers is approved with long-term operation experience on the wide range of hovercraft.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT IN MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS OPERATING

  • Developed products life time and service life extension during operation on the basis of Designer’s experience and competence
